Translational Epigenetics
Nagarajan lab is an internationally recognised research lab working on translational epigenetics based in the University of Manchester, UK. We investigate novel concepts that underlie the complexities of chromatin signaling in nuclear receptor-driven cancers, such as breast and prostate cancers. Our research focuses on understanding the transcriptional and epigenetic regulation in prevention, cancer progression, drug resistance, dormancy and metastasis and provide translational relevance to our findings. We are supported by funding from the CRUK Career Establishment award, Breast Cancer Now project grant, CRUK Biology to Prevention award, Translation Manchester, NIHR Biomedical Research Centre, MCRC and MRC-CASE doctoral training program.
